SMS Alerting with Appliance

Hi i am sending sms with serverscheck sms service but it is not sending message from a particular device, when i am using the appliance it only sent message from a particular device when i am using it as a stand alone, can you please help i want to sent the message from the appliance but from a device, also i the modem is not working with it

Can you clarify your issue? What configuration does work and what configuration doesn't work?

We want to use GSM&3G Modem, because we are doing this project for a GSM Company. Please we need a step by step configuration of the GSM & 3G and the equipment to use.

The SMSC option is not available in the SMS Alerts via GSM Modem configuration in my MONITORING APPLIANCE SOFTWARE . How can i get this option done.

The SMSC is no longer required

We try downloading the driver for the Falcom SAMBA 3G modem, but we could not do this from file below. http://files.serverscheck.net/drivers/samba3G/Samba3G_USB_Driver.zip

We have not been able to get 3G modem to pop up.

What modem do you use with the appliance?

HUAWEI Mobile Broadband

Model E3131s-2 it was shipped with the devices.

Why do you want the Falcom Samba 3G modem driver then?

According to the manual this is the falcom samba 3G Modem but when you look at the modem it give you the model, which i posted earlier.

Zoom 4595 GSM modem

If you have a Zoom 4595 then why do you want the Falcom Samba.

I will try it, again but the download link continue reading but do not download anything

To clarify which modem are you actually using? Huawei, Zoom, or both?

HUAWEI

1) install the Huawei modem on the appliance

2) Make sure that the Huawei app is NOT running

3) Select the COM port of the Huawei modem in the software

4) Restart the monitoring services



If above doesn't work, then reply with:

1) COM port Huawei modem has defined on your appliance

2) S-alerts.exe output when running debug mode:

you haven't replied with the content of the debug.txt file



also what are the contents of the sms.conf file and again please what is the com port of the Huawei modem in the device.

It seems like you & DUNCAN are one and the same person. Quite confusing but ok



the modem is configured but unable to send. this can have multiple reasons:

1) sim card not working (no more credits, ...)

2) wrong com port



the modem works so this is not the issue. make sure you selected the com port and then test with Huawei's app to send a SMS. If that works then quit then Huawei app (this may never be running) and verify COM port

Hi Admin my monitoring appliance is always freezing when it do that i have to restart it in order for it to function well can you please give me a hint, i appreciate.
