Power Sensor showing incorrect status.

Just received my new equipment from ServersCheck 10/3/2014 last week.
Installed everything today. Everything is working except for the power sensor that was ordered. It's showing a status of "PWR Fail". I've checked voltage on the outlet that it's connected to (good), Checked voltage from the power adapter (good), swapped cables from the sensor to the gateway and tested cables (good), and also swapped ports on the sensor gateway (the temp and humidity sensor that i ordered as well is working in both ports, so both ports are good).
I'm starting to think that the sensor is bad. Can someone confirm that i have not missed anything to check before i RMA this device?
