[ServersCheck 5.7.0] change database path

jsvandehoefjsvandehoef
Hello,

We are evaluating ServersCheck 5.7.0 and we would like to know if the database files can be placed elsewhere instead of the ROOT C: folder!

I found the following files and folders:

c:serverscheck.mdb

c:serverscheck_databases*.rrd

c:serverscheck_databasesrrdtool.exe

c:serverscheck_databasessample_database.mdb

But in the installation, I wanted ServersCheck to install in the C:Program FilesServersCheck, so I did... but the files/folders above were not in that install folder...

Can this be changed???

Best Regards,

Jeroen

The c:serverscheck.mdb can be placed anywhere as this is a sample file only.

The c:serverscheck_databases has to remain on that location. This is due to limitations of the RRDTool, an open source graphing engine that is used by ServersCheck.

If you install ServersCheck on a different drive then the serverscheck_databases needs to be installed in the root of that same drive.

In future versions, will this be changed to the install directory of ServersCheck?

Not unless the developers of the RRDTool fix the issue.
