SQL Perf Counters on Remote Win2k Server

SC Team - great product.



However, I am unable to get SC to monitor my SQL perf counters that are in Windows perf monitor.



Can you confirm i am able to to measure all windows based perf counters? - using the latest version - 5.8.2 Enterprise



Using the rules creation wizard, on the perfcount setting page, sample counters are given, but i believe in the field below i should be able to type in the full path of any counter i want to monitor right?



eg. according the Windows Perf Monitor i want -

SQLServer:Databases Transactions/sec total



How do i get this to work?

    Make sure that performance monitor is running on the remote computer to make performance counters work and that the service runs under a Domain Admin account having sufficient rights on the remote machine.
