SNMP And Netware

I am trying to create SNMP monitoring rules for Netware. I have a list of OID's from Novell's website to use for creating the rules. However I am having problems getting this to work. For example I have a OID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.98 and serverscheck returns a "couldn't retrieve value for OID" error. Is anyone using Serverscheck with Netware. Is there another way to use Netware MIB's and Serverscheck.

    Could you try with following OID?

    .1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.98



    Is that OID returning a numeric value (since SNMP check only works with numeric values)?

    Yes, I tried using the leading period and it didn't work. I do not fully understand OID's, this is what I am using to get the OID's for each of the Netware MIB's http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/10014087.htm

    I am not sure what you want to monitor from Novell but from the given link it seems to me that they do not return a numeric value.



    SNMP monitoring within ServersCheck is used for example to monitor items like queue's in databases, battery states, ...
