URL Check Fails - 5.10.5

I just installed 5.10.5 on a server to do a few URL checks. When I browse using the server to the URL that I have set up as a check, it works just fine. When I set up a rule in Servercheck, it fails with the error



"The check has been performed.

Status: DOWN?

Error returned: The server name or address could not be resolved"



I am uisng ServersCheck Enterprise on another server with these types of check and no problems. The server is not behind a proxy server and is able to readily browse to any website.



Any suggestions?

The URL check that runs on the other without any problems, what version is that? Normally the URL check component has not changed which leads towards suspecting that something is different on the computer on which you installed 5.10.5

The other server was runnign 5.10.3. Interestingly, this server that had the issue with URL checks, has never had Serverscheck installed to my knowledge.



I was able to workaround this problem by installing on yet a third server with no problems. I guess I just want to find out why.

Maybe something on that server caused a network issue on the component.
