I deleted the IR Spot sensor

I deleted the IR Spot sensor and now when I try to add it back it is missing even when the system detects it when adding the new sensor.

Monitoring screen says "Ready" but it is greyed out.

GatesGA not sure what went wrong. Replace in the conf/ subdirectory the original conf.db with this one:
    http://downloads.serverscheck.com/monitoring_software/upgrade/conf.db

This will reset the entire configuration to its initial settings. Reboot after replacing the conf.db

Admin, I got it to work by uninstalling the sensor from the device manager and restarting. But now the temperatures seems to be lower than what they supposed to be. i.e. like 92 degrees but should be 98 degrees.

The temperature calculation is done within the sensor; not the small PC. As per user manual: the first question would be to see if the lens of the sensor is clean? (this must always be clean or it could result in incorrect measurements)

It is clean and brand new.

The only way to accurately test the temperature is to test it against a calibrated black body. Not sure what object you are measuring it against but the way the sensors works is by sending an IR beam with a 12 degree angle. So even a little bit off compared to previous measurement can result in a different measurement -> see https://serverscheck.com/solutions/corona-covid-19.asp#bodytemperature
