Trap

Hello,

I have several temperature sensor gateways that work fine. I have two questions please. My purpose with these questions is to find a way to create a running log that contains details about probe temperature and timestamp.

1. For regulatory purposes, I need to keep a running log of the probe temperatures. Is this possible?

2. Is there a trap that contains temperature values so that I can receive it with a third party trap monitor?

Thank you in advance

    1. For that, you're going to have to use an SNMP Management Station software to do all the logging and even graphing.

    2. SNMP Trap messages contain the temp values and other sensor values. SNMP Traps are SNMP based alerts. If for regulatory purposes you need to keep log of sensor data, then you'd need to use SNMP GET, certainly not TRAPS.
