Browser connects and shows blank page

I connected new Gateway and it received a DHCP address. I open the browser, IE 11 and Firefox, enter the url that is the IP address, enter the user name and password, and get a blank page. How do I connect to the Gateway for the first time to do setup?

This is an odd one. Haven't found a similar issue. Can you go to
    http://your_ip/sensor_status.html with your browser?

Yes I can and get the same results. When I enter the url, the status bar shows waiting for 10.40.149.21 and then the old page gets wiped and nothing more shows up. Like it is writing white text on a white background. The same thing happens with IE 11 and Firefox.

What do you get when you do a view source on your Firefox browser?

If it is empty, can you perform a factory reset?

I cannot tell you since it will not post. I guess the code confuses your web page. I get about 6 lines when I go to the root url and 26 lines when I go to sensor_status page. Her are the first 2 lines.

    DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"
    html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en"
    and etc.

Can you take screen captures of the source and put them here as a reply using http://tinypic.com/ or similar?

The fact that you have a source seems to indicate that it is a browser / network issue and not a device issue. For example you could have it put in SSL mode and decline the certificate resulting in the page not being shown.

You may be correct since we have a Sonic Wall and I do not manage that. All of the sudden I am getting the web page populated this morning. I can see how to manage the settings. Thanks for your help. I think I am down the road.
