Factory reset didn't work properly on Sensor v5

Hi All,

I've upgraded to 8.0 firmware just recently, however due to several issues with the software, I've stepped away and went back to 7.50.
I've did a factory reset after 7.50 as it was not functioning properly with out switch panel, however now I do not have anything on the LCD, nor it's being learned on our network.
I've tried to factory reset it several times with the mentioned steps in the guide, however it's still blinking slowly and not doing anything.

Steps I'm doing: pushing reset button then plugging in the POE cable, keeping the button pushed until fast blinking stops, then after it's blinking slowly I push the reset button again and keep pushing it until fast blinking comes up again. ( 10-15 sec each session of holding the button as the guide requires me to do )

Pretty sure I'm doing something wrong, even though I did factory reset a few times for this sensor.
Could someone please help?

Thanks!

    Hello Oine,

Just Hold the reset button and then plug in PoE cable wait until OLED has display on it before releasing the Reset Button.
It should show display on the OLED screen conducting a factory firmware reset.

By the way, when did you purchase your device as I saw on their website that 2013 or lower have different firmware than device purchased 2014 or later.

If in case the OLED still doesn't show up, then you could try to use this to check what is the IP address of the SensorGateway if it doesn't show on the OLED screen

Thank you, it looks like it was our switch afterall..:) I've managed to connect it to my personal router at home, effectively gaining an IP and LCD feature back, now it's working again.

    Have a nice day!
