Execute an application

Hi,



Version 5.6.1 Enterprise



I defined an alert for a service. When the service gets down it executes an external application. Now, I want to get rid of the external application and do a start service instead. But I can't see a link on the alert page to remove the external application alert. Do I need to recreate the rule ?

    For remove an alert that executs an application, you need to submit it with all values left blank.



    If that does not work then you can still manually edit the serverscheck.conf file with notepad and remove the entry there.
