Temperature Sensor

I have a temperature sensor and I am not sure that it is working. It is connected via ethernet. On the top of the ethernet server are two lights and only one blinks. The NIC ports appear to be fine. We verified the settings and checked all the cables. We also unplugged the unit and plugged it back in from power and network. We also ran the device test from the command prompt to get

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

Can you assist please?

What are the settings of the Tibbo device. It looks like the TCP port setting are incorrect - it should be 3001

Wow that was quick. I found out the IP was changed and I am getting information back from the sensor specifically:

    Device Model = Temperature/Humidity Sensor

    Device Status = Normal

    Firmware Version = 5.00

    Number of variables = 5

    Variable 1: HUMIDITY (1 % RESOLUTION) 38 % RH

    Variable 2: HUMIDITY (0.1 % RESOLUTION) 37.5 % RH

    Variable 3: TEMPERATURE (0.5 C RESOLUTION) 22.5 C

    Variable 4: TEMPERATURE (0.1 C RESOLUTION) 22.6 C

    Variable 5: HASH ID 33039

So I guess I need to look in a different forum as the software still sees it as being down. Thank you so much for your rapid response.

Make sure to select the correct type of sensor when defining the monitor - in your case this the the TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY sensor and not TEMPERATURE
