Hi ALL,

I just want to ask your comments on this;

I have a project of Temperature and Flooding Sensor over WAN, the serverscheck server is installed in 1 HQ along with few sensors and other sensors are also installed on branch.

Now, when we tried to ping the sensors installed on the branches it replies, but we coudnt add it the serverscheck server we got "connection failed" error.

Then i also tried to run the DS Manager but the program cannot see the tibbo devices.

We already ask the Firewall admin to enable the PORT 3001 but still we are getting the problem.

May i know, what are the possibilities that causing the problem?

Please advise.

AGDatacom Engineer.

    We have many customers using the sensors over WAN. It needs a fixed IP (visible from the outside) with port 3001 enabled and that's it.

    DS Manager won't see it as it runs behind a firewall. For the DS Manager to work it needs to be in the same network segment.

    Using packet tracing and auditing on a firewall you can determine where the issue is
