Downtime Reports not working

jacobsenmjacobsenm
Hi,

I have found another bug in v10.1.4.

The Downtime Report (icon next to the paperclip of a rule) does not show any information. It just stays empty.

Furthermore, the Green, Yellow and Red not always work.

They show sometimes the "TOP 10" dashboard view.

You can fix it to first click on "Device View" and then click on one of the "Green, Yellow and Red " icons.

On our current setup, everything that you mentioned is working fine. Have you tried it on other browsers?
  • jacobsenmjacobsenm
I had a closer look to the rules. I see that it does work.

I forgot to copy the files from the old migrated ServersCheck software (C:Program FilesServersCheck_Monitoringdata)

However, the second issue in this post:

Furthermore, the Green, Yellow and Red not always work.

They show sometimes the "TOP 10" dashboard view.

You can fix it to first click on "Device View" and then click on one of the "Green, Yellow and Red " icons.

    Still exists .....

Can you try to clear the cache and cookies then see if the issue still exists? Thank you
  • jacobsenmjacobsenm
    That certainly helps.

However, when click first on TOP10 (it will show you the top10 page) and then select the GREEN / YELLOW / RED buttom, it will show you the TOP10 page again. And not the full details of the rules.

Does it also happen on all of the other browsers?
  • jacobsenmjacobsenm
Correct. same issue on Firefox and IE

Can I know if you have ServersCheck installed on more than 1 directory?
  • jacobsenmjacobsenm
It is installed in 1 directory. This issue concern only this:

The Green, Yellow and Red not always work.

They show sometimes the "TOP 10" dashboard view.

You can fix it to first click on "Device View" and then click on one of the "Green, Yellow and Red " icons.

Yes, I see but it shouldn't be that way. As a last resort, you can reinstall the software and backup the following data found here on the "Manual upgrade procedure" portion:

    http://wiki.serverscheck.com/index.php/Upgrade

Ok, I did a brand new ServersCheck 10.1.3 installation (just downloaded).

    Restored the config files.

Step 1 : Select Dashboard Views

Step 2 : Select Device View

Step 3 : Click on the Yellow icon (= Warning Alerts)

It shows in a row format all rules that are in warning

The output is just fine. That is how it should be.

Now .... the following procedure shows the bug

Step 1 : Select Dashboard Views

    Step 2 : Select TOP10

Step 3 : Click on the Yellow icon (= Warning list)

This will still show the TOP10

and not the row format of all rules in a warning

(same for Red icon (= Down list))

I hope I made myself clear
