SMTP Password - 30 character length

I was wondering if there's any workaround to the limit of 30 characters on the SMTP password? As we have a large number of systems using this password, we can't change it without creating a lot of work. Using gmail is also out of the question, as I'm not keen on opening a port for it.

Unfortunately not, easiest would be to create a new user in your email server with a password that requires less than 30 characters.
  • Hi, Unfortunately, some SMTP services are generating the password for us and we cannot change it. One big example is using AWS SES smtp service which is widely used in the industry. The password length is bigger than the limit. I believe it is 40 char and cannot be changed. I think you should re-evaluate this question. Thank you.
